We are off to Egypt this week in our quest to keep from boredom this summer. We are excited about what we can learn and all the fun that is in store. Seriously, you start talking mummies and pyramids and the kids are all over it.
There is a lot we can discover in Egypt and about Egypt but here is a quick summary of things we hope to cover.
Cool interactive embalming activity keep in mind the process in mummification is quite grotesque and may not be appropriate for the littles in your life. My oldest (at age 10) can handle this because of his understanding of history. My littles (4 and 6 -and even my 8 yr old) find this almost scary - so we are approaching it in a little different way which we will share with you later in the week.
