I love to hear that there are other parents that still value the "old-fashioned" values you mentioned. I found a wonderful book recently that outlined all the skills a child needed to learn before sending them out the door to college, and the ideal age to teach them. It's called "The Parenting Breakthrough" by Merrilee Boyack. Loved it! Love your blog! Thanks for the inspiration.
