Two days down and two to go. So far we have had 9 girls under the age of 7 and its been a blast. Crafts galore, camp songs, games, and creative snack times make the days go by so fast. In a quest for all things creative and crafty I have discovered a slew of awesome blogs that I will share later on. Here are a few highlights of the first two days.
We are doing a few 4th of July crafts this week too. And I love adding decorations the kids make around the house no matter the holiday. Our favorite game has become we went to grandmas house. I was so amused at the items the girls "found" at their grandmas house... The funniest ones are stinky socks and dead ol' rat. While I clean up from lunch time my son volunteered to do story time with the girls - he is so animated reading the books to the girls and they just giggle and are completely attentive to him.
Here are some GREAT links - so just check them out if your kids are starting to squirm with boredom. This is one of those sites that I clicked on and just sat for an hour - camp songs, camp crafts, ice breakers, you name it - - and you dont have to use them for "camp"... ULTIMATE camp resource.
